Dear Friends, It is with sadness that I announce the passing of a great leader of the Filipino-American community, Mrs. Dolores B. Ventura. Mrs. Ventura was an outstanding member of the Filipino-American Society of South Jersey and the Ilocano Cultural Association of Greater Philadelphia. She was a 2-term president of the Filipino-American Association of Philadelphia, Inc. and a life member of the Ladies Auxillary Post 63 Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mrs. Ventura was a retired Ophthalmic Histotechnologist from the University of Pennsylvania. Viewing will be at the Snover-Givnish Funeral Home, 1200 Route 130 North Cinnaminson, NJ, on Dec 14, 2007, Friday, 6-9pm and Saturday Dec 15, 2007, 8:15-9:15 followed by Mass at 10am at the Church of the Holy Name on Conrow Road in Delran, NJ. She will be missed by the Filipino-American community of the Delaware Valley which she dearly loved.
