PCSNJ ACCOMPLISHMENTS

In the great teamwork style that PCSNJ is well known for, we have accomplished the following:


1. We gained 11 new members, many of whom are already active participants in our activities.
2. We have marketed the Center successfully through weekly line dancing and monthly Club Dance.with increased rentals seen. (we now need a big dumpster)
3. We paid $8,000 towards our mortgage from the souvenir program funds.
4. We earned $8,000 plus for our outreach programs from the combined proceeds of Valleybrook Golf, Anniversary Ball,and Wine Tasting.
5. We earned $3,000 plus for our wooden flooring from the Caroling efforts.and work will begin in March.
6. We have donated a total of $1,500 towards many charitable causes, including Gawad Kalinga, Kabisig ng Kalahi, OIC Phiippines, and Philippine National Red Cross (Bicol typhoon victims).  We gained the help of the whole community in a concerted voluntary effort
for the Bicol charity wherein we collected about $500
7. We have a smoother payment pattern from our two renters with an established reminder method
8. We have established and planned programs for the youth starting with tagalog classes as well as song /dance talent competition.  Field trips are in the offing.
9. We continue supporting our Senior Citizens through monthly computer classes and educational activities.
10.  We have reactivated the Constitution and Bylaws Committee to look especially deeper into our membership criteria
11.  We have established a Morale/Appreciation Committee that will help support our own members,
12.  We now have an External Liaison Committee that will represent a visible PCSNJ contingency in the other organization events
13.  We finally have our PCSNJ Gazette up and running and next publication with be in April-May.14. We are resurrecting our Pledge Committee to follow up on previous as well as new pledges for the Center and add more names to our planned "Donation Tree" project
15.  We have a plan for other organizations who donated (and will donate) money to make use of the Community Center. Conference Room.continues to be offered free of charge to organizations
